【求助】什么是clamshell mode?

我在使用screen spanning doctor破解ibook时，在它的说明文档里看到了clamshell mode，这个是什么意思啊？？现在进专门网论坛，发现发贴的格局变成颠倒了，列表在发言栏的下方了！

而且只有部分机器型号才可以通过软件设置，使得关上屏幕时不休眠
